Roadrageous™ Driver Training Course for
Law Enforcement Personnel

Aggressive Driving is a challenge for everyone.  Crowded roads, busy schedules, and a non-stop parade of poor or even dangerous drivers around every corner.  It becomes so easy to respond in kind and make poor decisions behind the wheel.

Law Enforcement Personnel have an even more difficult assignment.  To contain their own natural aggressive driving tendencies and handle all of the distractions that come with the job AND to deal with other drivers on the road and help them change their driving behavior.

This is why the Roadrageous Aggressive Driver Containment Course for Law Enforcement Personnel was created.  The course helps Law Enforcement Personnel correct their own driving habits, but also gives advice and training on Public Safety Campaigns while providing solid strategies to deal with the aggressive drivers they pull over in the line of duty.

What Makes Roadrageous a Different Kind of Driver Safety Training Course?

Most driver safety education courses concentrate on re-teaching drivers things they already know: the meaning of traffic signs, how to react during a skid, etc.  However, most accidents and especially most traffic fatalities are the result of driving BEHAVIOR:  driving too fast for road conditions, driving when angry or tired, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reacting to poor driving by others on the road and so on.

Roadrageous was designed by psychologists to change behavior behind the wheel and to better protect drivers from the poor driving behavior of other drivers on the road.  The course is effective because it delivers its message with our “Edu-tainment” formula that combines videos, skits, self-tests and a variety of instructor-student and student-student interaction that keeps the student’s attention while leading them down the path to ACKNOWLEDGE their negative driving behaviors, then gives them the tools to WITNESS the behaviors as they happen and ultimately, allows the student to MODIFY them while driving.

A Proven Driver Safety Solution

…AND IT WORKS! Roadrageous™ has been documented in two independent statistical studies conducted by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles of the State of Florida to reduce collisions 64-74%.

The Roadrageous™ program has been used with great success around the country: by police departments, corporations, … even the US Army.  The Roadrageous™ course has been used in the State of Florida for over seven years to remediate drivers convicted of aggressive driving.

Classroom-based Driver Safety Instruction

Roadrageous  is an 8 hour classroom course.  It features our exclusive  "Edu-tainment" style that combines skits, games, videos, student-instructor interaction, student-student interaction and oh yes, a little straight instruction to make the time go by quickly and the lessons stick.  The course is not designed to teach people how to drive, it is designed to change their behavior and decision making process behind the wheel.

Poor behavior and driver choices are not  addressed with variations of “just say no” or gory pictures of crash victims as they are in standard driver safety training.  Instead, Roadrageous leads the student down a psychologically based path to ACKNOWLEDGE their bad driving decisions, WITNESS themselves when they are making them, and MODIFY those decisions.  Plus, Roadrageous is focused like a laser on behavioral change -  not a couple of modules added to a standard defensive driving course.  Read more about the Roadrageous™ difference and why it is so effective in changing behavior or better yet call or email us for additional information
